Saying goodbye to the CIMP guys~

Today Acap and I wake up at 7.30am (plan 6.30am) to follow Alep to KLIA. Little bit late going there as Alep told me that their flight delayed to 1.00pm..wah so terrible. Arrived there around 10.00pm and Razi, Jibah and Dila also there. Lots of picture snapped there with the brand new Dila's Sony Alpha300. I just holding the Cybershot w110 (so dengki actually). Well I got the chance to try her DSLR =). Credit to Dila.

I like materials experiment

Today we did Plastic & Elastic Deformation Experiment which quite complex and using hi-tech machine. We used the alloy and low carbon steel to get their graph of elastic modulus and more.
The experiment was done by group and those that were waiting for their turn shares their funny jokes, making the lab noise with laughs - that's why I like material lab session apart from the interesting experiment =)
And I like wearing the translucent lab spectacles..hahaha
And after that we need to do lab report plus a formal report one. Aiya~

We called this as necking process.

I want a camera....

Sony a300

Just I just visited Dila's blog and she's owning a Sony a300 DSLR.....pergh 10.2 megapixel tuu...dengki siot...and for me, still dreaming to get a Nikon D60(RM2688...bilalah agaknya)..it would be great with a wide angle lens...ohh..
It's nothing much to do with my point-and-shoot Nikon L16, like adjusting the aperture, shutter speed, focus control, white balance, ISO...ooh what the hell..
perhaps I just need to own a Sony also...cuz they're little bit cheaper than the nikon one =)

How the steel really looks like....

Steel. Material that we use everyday but don't we care how it really looks like? We had made experiment during material lab and found that the steel actually possess grains on its surface and the size of grains determines the strength of the steel. Take a look of the image acquired by lab's microscope with 500x optical zoom. We draw the red line in order to measure the grain size of the low carbon steel.

MUFY Graduation Night 2008

Recently I joined the Graduation Night after completing our Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) programme for about 1 years. It's a very cool night that not just only the student perform but the lecturers! Sadly I didn't bring a camera that night so I just ask the pictures from my friends. Even sometimes the pictures are blur but it's better than nothing. Hopefully I can see my classmates again in future. Here are some pictures of me and them.

Poor Lorry

While relaxing at my room suddenly I heard an explosion from outside. Guessing that there's an accident happened but it's only the lorry's tire bursts. Luckily there's nothing bad happened on the busy KESAS highway, just beside our Casa Subang.

Here's the view from my window.

The Birthday of Syidah

The cake looks burning. Thanks for the invitation...and also the nice 'maggi pizza'.
