How the steel really looks like....

Steel. Material that we use everyday but don't we care how it really looks like? We had made experiment during material lab and found that the steel actually possess grains on its surface and the size of grains determines the strength of the steel. Take a look of the image acquired by lab's microscope with 500x optical zoom. We draw the red line in order to measure the grain size of the low carbon steel.

MUFY Graduation Night 2008

Recently I joined the Graduation Night after completing our Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) programme for about 1 years. It's a very cool night that not just only the student perform but the lecturers! Sadly I didn't bring a camera that night so I just ask the pictures from my friends. Even sometimes the pictures are blur but it's better than nothing. Hopefully I can see my classmates again in future. Here are some pictures of me and them.

Poor Lorry

While relaxing at my room suddenly I heard an explosion from outside. Guessing that there's an accident happened but it's only the lorry's tire bursts. Luckily there's nothing bad happened on the busy KESAS highway, just beside our Casa Subang.

Here's the view from my window.

The Birthday of Syidah
